Hi Ty Iam sending you this letter because mt mom and I and live together and we have mold in our celler our back porch is falling aport we stell have old windows the house is 86 years old my mom is 85 years old iam 54 my son is 14 Iam out of work don't make that much money on social security and can't fix up the house.We don't have a camera to take any pictures and our water don't tast good my mom don't even own her house yet we don't even have kitchen cabinest.I would love to give her a nice home.Like I said she is 85. My younger sister helps us out as much as posable please help we need help my mom and I sleep in the cool in the winter to keep the electric bill down even our back porch is coming apart.I try to fix it but something else breaks.I just can't keep up with this old house.My sister Jackie got a computer for my son and she is letting me make payments on becuse that is the only way I can pay for it so can you please help us. hi my name is karla.i am wrighting to you to tell of a family that needs a home . they are the hunter family . they live in monmouth il. the hunter have 6 kids of there own . her sister lives with them she has 4 kids . they have there aunts children and that is 4 more . the stay in a trailor that is being sold for back taxes . they will have know where to go . i am asking for help for them . can you help me with this.

For the past 6 years, I've lived with my boyfriends parents. They have been more of a family to me then my own. Eva, my mother-in-law, is such an inspiration to me. If it wasn't for her, I would not of had the support and encouragment to finally graduate. I am so grateful now that I know I can support my baby boy. Eva has two boys of her own, Mikey and Jr. Her oldest son, Jr, is handicapped but is so full of life. He loves music and bikes. Mikey, the youngest, is my boyfriend and is struggling to help his father. My father-in-law has been diagnosed with leukemia and after working at Tyson for 22 years, is no longer able to work. There are five of us and my baby living in the home and are very crowded. Eva is the most strong willed person I have ever known, she tends to her handicapped son and her husband and still finds the time to help me get my life straight. Me and My boyfriend don't want to leave the house because we want so badly to help them with the bills and groceries. The problem is that the house is crowded and falling apart. It is a two bedroom house with a very small basement, which Mikey and me have tried to make into a room for us. The ceiling to the basement has a very large hole and is cracking severely, I get scared that it will break and fall on us and the baby. Jr's room is above us and is very small, he has a very hard time moving around. I would love to show them how grateful I am for their help and support. Please help me give them somethihg special in return. it would mean SO much to us.

Hello I'm writing in to try and help my sister who has been suffering from throat cancer,she is raising her grandchildren and her step grandchild who also suffers from alot of health issues.She lost her husband to cancer a few years back but her house has started falling apart and shes to the point of selling it and moving into housing cause she can't afford to fix it.Her toilet even rocks back and forth.

My husband and i are struggling to build our own house,no contractors,no out side help,just the to of us we build a little at a time pay check to paycheck.So far it has taken us two years to pour slab & get walls up.while working every spare minete on our home,we are living in a old falling apart 27,foot travel traler,key word travel not live in for 6 years. A very cramped way to live.I am a mother of two & grandmother of 9 wonderful g,kids.Because of some unfortunate choice made by my son and daughter-in-law the state of texas has custody of their 4.Several years ago those children were placed with us for months at a time in the same quarters they now say are too small& too crowed.We desperatly trying to finish our home so we,ll have plenty of room for my babies before cps puts them up for adoption. thier not even together,the two babies are in one town and the two oldiest are here. we have till the end of this year.Can u please help us finish our HOME.

My family is in deep need of a make over. We had had our roof done over 10 times and none are right. My mom is a single mom with 4 kids. myself,16, my two brothers Devon,18, Dashon,15, and my sister Morgan,8. Our house is in the city of St.Louis Mo. its Very hard for my mom to do everything by herself and this house is no help at all. The walls are messed up from the rain. The basement is not every close to being done.Our concrete on the outside is falling apart. My little brother has ashma. My mom goes to work and to school. Please help us.

Rhonda, if you don't have a home already that needs to be fixed up then you may not have much luck with this show. You should consider appealing to other charitable causes to see if you can get some help with obtaining a nice place for you and your family to live in. Good luck!

my sons father was diagnosed with cancer 2 days before christmas and died on 1-16-09 he did not have any insurance his 86year old mother was living with him now my son is trying to take care of grandma and the house they are living in is so cold and run down that it breaks my heart they can barely get in thier road and my son ost his job one week prior to his fathers death he gets 150 aweek from emplyment and weare crying as we type this but need your prayers more than anything he really has his ands full please help him

My sister and I are in the process of nominating our eldest sister which is in dire need of a new house, both physically and for their health. I don't even know where to begin with her situation. She is an over 50 mother of 3 and 3 grandchildren. She has 2 still living with her. Her kids are very bright and help out in the community on a regular basis. Her son right now is in a medical facility hoping to come home at the end of the school year. He has been misdiagnosed many times, and is now said to have Bi-Polar, ADHD, and has a thyroid condition. His mom is a hard worker, gives up everything for her family and never gets a break. She just started working again after not being able to for a few years due to her sons condition and constant time it took to take care of him. She has an extremely hard time getting around because there is no cartilage in her knees. She has a lot of weight on her, and she has some medical conditions. The house has many leaks, roof, pipes, mud from foundation, sewer back ups, and many other things that has led to black mold throughout the house and basement. They live in a 1 bedroom house in 625 square feet. Only the daughter has a bed and it is not in good shape. A short time ago, they managed to live through carbon monoxide poisoning which she found by accident. The city helped her out and put in a new furnace. The levels were so high that it was deadly. The only thing that saved them was a window by the furnace that had been cracked open so the air was being let out. Their health was very bad even then, but did improve after the furnace had been fixed. She said it was great to be able to think again and not be so clouded in her head all the time, and the respratory problems it caused along with headaches, and major joint pain. The pain led to her imobility for a long time. No one really wants to go in her house due to the condition, and she is embarrassed to have anyone over. She has no money so she rarely goes out for herself. She takes care of her kids and takes them everywhere. Her son is 5 hours away and doesn't have a reliable car to go see him. My sister is a very giving and bubbly person. She always makes the best of things no matter how difficult it is. Helping out families and churches is what she does best, and would love to do more. She would love for their to be a pool and youth center around for the family and kids to have a safe and nice environment to play in and enjoy friends. She needs that same thing in her home.

My name is paul i am a senoir fixing to graduate from high school i would love for my mom to have a home make over because i live in Mississippi after Katrina my dad left us and toke good part off the insurance money to repair our home i have seen and heard my mom cry to sleep she was working seven days a week just to keep up with the bills i want to go to college but i know my mom cannot afford it she recently got laid-off from her work and there is no income coming in and worries how she is going to fix the house there is mold growing in the bathrooms, we are walking on concrete because we have no floors she has been mom/dad is my dad left she tries herf best but it is wearing her down she has lost so much weight because of her nerves our dad does not care if our house gets fix my mom is so stress out i would love to see her house fix before i go to school thank you.

Hi my name is Brandy i'm the mother of 4 great children (1 little girl Cassandra 4 and 3 Boys Sean 5 Bradley 3 Braiden 2) They are such great kids. The problem is Cassandra was born at 34 weeks and she has had lots of health problems, Now she has to live with asthma not only that her older bother Sean we just found out that he also has asthma. My husband Joe works everday and we still cannot get us a home. Right now we are renting an old bar that has been turned into an apartment. It isn't the safest for my children because they are not suppost to be around dust and mold but this place is really dusty and we also have water and maybe suage running under the apartment, but it's so close to the ground that we can not get under there to check.We also don't have any heat so we have to heat with our oven. Ty I would really love to have you to help us in some way so that way my husband can spend a little bit of time at home with his children. If you can not help that is okay too because I know that there are so many families that need so much more help than we do.

I am writing this for for my mom who raised us four kids by herself working two jobs when our father left us. she never asked for anything for her self. She always put her family first. Five yrs old she a stroke on the job and had to retire. she is a diabetic and has copd, and angia also a spinal disorder which makes hard for her to get around, she has a small trailor home 12'by 70' which needs windows and siding it is very cold and hard for to stay warm. our wish is see her comfortable in her golden years for all the love support she gave us all. thank John, dawn, mildred and carl her children
