Real Chance of Love

Real Chance of Love stars Ahmad and Kamal Givens. The brothers were on the reality shows I Love New York and I Love Money. Real Chance of Love debuted on October 20, 2008 and ended on January 26, 2009. Ahmad is the "Real" in the title and Kamal is the "Chance".

Kamal and his two brothers, Ahmad and Micah, are involved in a rap group called Stallionaires. Kamal was the runner-up on I Love New York. Both brothers enjoy breeding Arabian horses and producing music.

Ahmad is the sensitive one and Kamal isn't afraid to say what's on his mind, whether it hurts feelings or not.

The VH1 reality show contained 14 episodes and generally took an equal format to other VH1 dating reality shows. The girls were thrown into challenges to see who would win, and then at the end of the episode a girl (or sometimes more than one girl) would be eliminated.

In the first episode there is a nickname ceremony where the brothers give the girls representative names.

• Stalker. Her real name is Lynnette Fomby.
• Isha. Her real name is Willesha Pollard.
• Harmony. Her real name is Harmony Farhadi. This wasn't really a nickname because it's her first name, but the brothers claimed she can sing well.
• Sexy Legs. Her real name is Menika Evans.
• So Hood. Her real name is Judith Scullark. She was so nicknamed because of her spitfire personality.
• Lusty. Her real name is Shonda Humphreys.
• Meatball. Her real name is Angela Campanale. She raised in Italy and Kamal said that was the first thing he thought of.
• Ki Ki. Her real name is Lakia Bailey.
• Bubbly. Her real name is Bianca. The brothers said she had a "bubbly personality".
• K.O. Her real name is Roxanne Gallegos. Roxanne fought professionally for seven years.
• Milf. Her real name is Ahmo Hight.
• Rabbit. Her real name is Jessica Rich. Ahmad was reminded of Jessica Rabbit.
• Risky. Her real name is Ebony Jones. Nicknamed because he has many tattoos on her body.
• Cali. Her real name is Christine Ly. Home state is California.
• Bay Bay Bay. Her real name is Konanga Tyson.
• Corn Fed. Her real name is Abbi La Nay Noah. Home city is Fargo, North Dakota.

Ahmad and Kamal were supposed to pick one girl each to win the reality show, but only Ahmad selected a girl. He picked Corn Fed (Abbi La Nay Noah) while Kamal picked no one. Unfortunately, after the reunion show was filmed Corn Fed and Ahmed split up.

Ahmo Hight (Milf) and Christine Ly (Cali) are now competitors on the second season of I Love Money.

This answer to this question is speculation. The first reason released was that Kamal didn't really like any of the girls to begin with. He was picking the girls to stay who he liked the best, but didn't feel a connection with any of them. There is also a rumor that Kamal is gay. Another potential reason is that Kamal wants his own show, which is less realistic now since Ahmed and Corn Fed are no longer together. One final possiblity is that they decided one of the brothers should continue on with their one show to keep the name Stallionaires out there since they just released a single and are ready to release an album.

The show isn't groundbreaking as it follows the same type of progression as other dating shows like Rock of Love and Flavor of Love. Girls or guys compete in fun and silly little challenges that test character, humor, and patience, then the host or hosts must decide who stays and who goes. There is nothing new in Real Chance of Love except for the colorful characters and drama.
