Like many socialites before her, Khloe Kardashian is enjoying life in front of the camera. She loves the attention, fame and endless possibilities being a reality television star has to offer.

Khloe Kardashian was born June 27, 1984 in Los Angeles, California to Kris Houghton and Robert Kardashian, the latter of whom was O.J. Simpson's defense attorney during his 2003 murder trial. The couple divorced in 1989, and Houghton married Olympic gold medalist Bruce Jenner. Robert Kardashian died in 2003 from cancer. Khloe Kardashian has two sisters, Kourtney and Kim and a brother, Robert. She has two half-sisters, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, and one stepsister, Casey Jenner. Stepbrothers include Brandon, Burton and Brody Jenner, who is also a reality television star.

Khloe Kardashian has been linked romantically to Rashad McCants of the Sacramento Kings and more recently to Derrick Ward of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

In 2007, around the anniversary of her father's death, Khloe Kardashian was arrested for driving while under the influence of alcohol. Her reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians did not capture the event, but did portray a reenactment. She received probation for her offense. However, in 2008, she broke her probation by not attending an alcohol treatment program and was ordered to jail. In July of the same year, she was sentenced up to 30 days in jail, but only served three hours because of overcrowding.

The three Kardashian sisters -Kim, Kourtney and Khloe- took their eyes for fashion and in 2006, opened DASH!, a high-end clothing boutique in Calabasas, California. Their boutique caters to celebrities and carries high-end fashions and accessories from American designers. In 2009, the girls opened up an East Coast location in Miami, Florida.

It only took one reality television show to launch Khloe Kardashian's career. From there, the socialite soon realized there were many opportunities for her both on and off the television screen.

In October 2007, Khloe, along with the rest of the Kardashians and Jenners, premiered in her first reality television show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians on E! Television. The show, which focuses on the personal and professional lives of the blended family, was an instant success. As of summer 2009, they were preparing a fourth season. Khloe's highlights from the first three seasons include:

• Being arrested for DUI
• Helping a homeless man
• Attending an acting class
• Verifying Kris Jenner is really her mother by taking a DNA test
• Getting a biopsy done because she fears skin cancer
• Coping with her on-again/off-again relationships with men

Since Keeping Up with the Kardashians had taken off with great success, Khloe Kardashian was ready for her next reality show - The Celebrity Apprentice. Her appearance during the 2009 season was a bit unexpected, but the show's mogul, Donald Trump, said he chose her for several reasons including her dynamic personality and that she was "very pleasant on the eyes." Her goal was to raise funds for The Brent Shapiro Foundation for Alcohol and Drug Awareness.

However, it wasn't her performance on her tasks or in the boardroom that got Khloe fired from the show. It was her DUI arrest. It seems Donald Trump didn't know about her legal troubles before bringing her on the show. He was none the happier to find out about it afterward, especially since she had to miss part of a task to attend a mandatory DUI class. So he fired her, citing that he lost a bit of respect for her and "hated" people who drove drunk.

Khloe's latest reality television pairs her with older sister Kourtney. E! Television's Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami is about the girls' new life living in Miami, Florida. They moved there in the summer of 2009 to open up an East Coast DASH! store. The remaining family members will not be part of the regular cast, but will have guest appearances. It's unclear how Kourtney's impending pregnancy will affect the show.
