From LoveToKnow Reality-TV
It's not surprising that fans are interested in finding out how to contact Dog the Bounty Hunter! As showcased in his reality show on A&E, Dog is an intriguing character with a dangerous and complicated job. His entire family keeps viewers entertained each week as they hunt down fugitives and put themselves in precarious situations.
About Dog the Bounty Hunter
Dog the Bounty Hunter's real name is Duane Chapman. He is a real bounty hunter, and runs Da Kine Bail Bonds based in Honolulu, Hawaii. Da Kine also has offices in Denver, Colorado.
After appearing on an A&E special called Take This Job, which profiled people and families with out of the ordinary professions, Dog and his family were offered their own show entitled Dog the Bounty Hunter. All of the criminals who are hunted on the show are real, with actual warrants put out for their arrests.
Dog the Bounty Hunter combines the family dynamics between Dog, his wife Beth, their children, and his brother Tim, with a look at the life of a real bounty hunter. Several other family members, from children to grandchildren to ex-wives, frequently appear on the reality show.
How to Contact Dog the Bounty Hunter
Contacting celebrities directly is never an easy task if you're not a member of the media. If you're persistent and courteous, however, sometimes you can get lucky and make contact with the star.
If you're interested in trying to contact Dog the Bounty Hunter to ask him questions about the show or his life, there are a few ways to try to reach him.
A&E Website
The A&E website has a section devoted to Dog the Bounty Hunter, and if you scroll down to the very bottom of the page, there's also a link that says "Contact Us." This contact form goes directly to the department you specify at A&E, not to any cast members of any of their shows. However, you can ask for an address to send a letter or e-mail. There's no guarantee though that they'll respond.
Dog the Bounty Hunter's Website
Dog has his own official website, and once again you'll find a link to a contact form. This time the link can be found at the top of the page. There's a disclaimer on the form itself that reads, "This form is submitted to a member of the Dog the Bounty Hunter web team, not Dog the Bounty Hunter or a member of his posse."
You can attempt to send in your questions or comments and ask that they be passed along, but again, there's no guarantee that you'll get the response you're looking for.
Sometimes Dog does live chats through his website, so make sure you check to see if there is anything scheduled that you might be able to participate in.
Both Dog the Bounty Hunter and his wife Beth Chapman have accounts on the social networking site Twitter. You can find Dog at DogBountyHunter, and Beth at MrsDogC. While you can certainly send them both messages (tweets), they are likely inundated with questions from fans and may not get back to you. Still, it can be fun to read what they tweet, and Twitter can be a great way to keep up with your favorite celebrities.
Celebrity Address Lists
Often, you'll find websites and services that offer to sell you a list of contact information for celebrities. These sites pop up in web searches, or sometimes they'll send you unsolicited e-mail offers. Most of these services are bogus, or at the very least contain outdated information that may or may not get you closer to contacting Dog the Bounty Hunter or any other celebrity. Exercise caution when dealing with these companies.
If you're a fan of Dog the Bounty Hunter and his show, it's understandable that you might want to contact him to express your thoughts or questions. He, like many other stars, isn't easily accessible to the public, but it's always worth trying to get in touch. You never know, he might just write back!
