Celebrity Apprentice 2
From LoveToKnow Reality-TV
The Celebrity Apprentice 2 is a reality TV show that carries on in the Apprentice tradition, focusing on business and teamwork. The format is exactly the same as it was for the first Celebrity Apprentice, but with new stars and different tasks.
Celebrity Apprentice 2 Format
The Celebrity Apprentice is usually a two-hour program on NBC, although some episodes are one hour in length. Sixteen celebrities are invited to take part, and they are divided into two teams based on gender.
Each week, teams must first select a project manager who acts as the Team Leader. Teams are then assigned a task by host Donald Trump and then must compete against each other to win the task. Most tasks are sponsored by a large corporation, but some are very basic and sales-based such as selling cupcakes on the streets of New York.
At the end of the task, the losing team must face Trump in the board room. There, after each team member has some input on how they feel the task was carried out, the project manager chooses two other team members to stay and one of the three is fired.
All of the celebrities are playing to win money for their favorite charities. At the end of each task, the winning team's project manager gets all of the proceeds accumulated during the task by both teams for his or her charity. If raising money isn't involved in the task, a base sum of $20,000 is paid out.

Most often, Trump's eyes and ears are his children, Ivanka and Don Jr. Occasionally, however, there are others who take on this job. Sometimes the guests are the presidents or other high ranking officers in the companies sponsoring the tasks. During this season, some notable appearances are also made by:
- Celebrity Apprentice season one winner Piers Morgan
- Former Apprentice staffer and fan favorite George Ross
- MSNBC anchor Erin Burnett
