List of America's Next Top Model Winners

The winners from ANTM enjoy varied levels of success with their modeling careers after the show ends. Not all winners wind up with enviable careers after the initial contracts expire, and some of the most successful contestants aren't the official winners of the show.

One thing is for sure: this show does enable everyday young women the opportunity to gain exposure in an attempt to jump-start a modeling career, whether it's a commercial career in catalog work or a high fashion career full of runway modeling and artistic photographs.

Season One

The first season's winner was Adrianne Curry, who often portrayed herself as a rebellious woman who had a hard edge to her. She may have also been the most outspoken winner, as she caused plenty of controversy after her win by making the public claim that she was unable to gain the status as a model that was promised to her as the ANTM winner. She has since appeared on a variety of reality shows.

Season Two

Yoanna House was the winner of the second season. One of the most interesting facets of her appearance on ANTM was the fact that she lost a great deal of weight prior to joining the ranks of the contestants in an attempt to fit into fashion's rigid standards for models. She has enjoyed a busy career with modeling and television.

Season Three

The winner of ANTM's third season was Eva Pigford. Now an actress, she goes by the name Eva Marcille instead of her birth name. Not only was she the first African-American ANTM winner, but she was also considered much shorter than most runway models. She enjoys success now with her busy acting career.

Season Four

This season was won by Naima Mora, who was known during her season as being somewhat antisocial and eclectic. She is a trained dancer and singer. One of her most unique attributes during the season was her modified mohawk hairdo and her multicultural background that made it difficult for other contestants to figure out her nationality. She continues with her modeling career in addition to acting and singing.

Season Five

Nicole Linkletter was the youngest of all America's Next Top Model Winners. She has met great success with her modeling career after the show and has been represented by several different agencies. She also continues to pursue her college degree while modeling.

Season Six

The winner of the sixth season was Danielle Evans. She is best remembered for her struggles with trying to shed her Southern accent, or at least to lessen it enough to properly become a spokesmodel. She has a successful modeling career in present day including many runway shows to her credit.

Season Seven

CariDee English won the seventh season of ANTM. Although she continuously delivered good photographs, her extroverted personality sometimes bothered the judges because she was sometimes considered rude. It is also interesting to note that she suffers from psoriasis. She continues to model professionally.

Season Eight

This season was won by Jaslene Gonzales. An interesting fact about this contestant is that she made it to the semifinals of the show in the previous season, but came back to audition again and made it into the finals. Her modeling credits include billboards in New York's Times Square and a variety of runway shows.

Season Nine

Saleisha Stowers was the ninth winner of ANTM. She had modeling experience prior to auditioning for the show and caused some controversy when it was revealed that she had appeared on a fast food commercial before entering the competition. She continues to model in print ads as well as runway shows.

Season Ten

The tenth season was won by Whitney Thompson, who was the first plus-size model of the America's Next Top Model winners. In addition to her larger size than the other contestants on the show, she was told to act more naturally by the judges because she was considered to present a fake façade. She continues to model professionally.
